The app has no account system and sends none of your data to any server.- No tracking, no ads, no analytics. Your gear list and trip notes are yours alone.
- Photos are stored locally with your data and are never uploaded.
- Exports (XLSX inventory, insurance documentation) are generated on your device and go only where you choose to send or save them.
- Maps links open Apple Maps or Google Maps — a third party whose own privacy terms apply once you leave GearBox.
- You control your data. Delete the app at any time to permanently erase all associated data from your device.Payment: GearBox is sold through the Apple App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple under Apple's own Privacy Policy.
